Lauren Ash

 

Lauren Elizabeth Ash, born February 4, 1983, is a Canadian actor and comedian who lives in Los Angeles. She was originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is most famous among the public for her performance in Superstore as Dina Fox. Ash is an alumna of Second City Toronto Mainstage, and Second City Chicago mainstage. She is also a part of the comedy duo "Cory!" She is a two-time Canadian Comedy Award winner for Best Female Improviser in 2006 and 2007 and has also won for Best Performance by a Female - Television for Almost Heroes in 2012 and in 2015 she was awarded the award for Best Female Performance in an Feature Film in her role as Carol in the film Dirty Singles. She was also a guest on the show pranks called "Scare Tactics". From 2020 onwards, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" along with her cousin Christy Oxborrow.

She turned pro in 2007 following an impressive professional career as a college golfer at the University of Texas El Paso. Mendoza was a contestant on The Big Break, a reality-TV show on Golf Channel.    Childhood and professional life  Born in Roswell, New Mexico, Gerina Mendoza attended Goddard High School and won the state championship golf in 2003. She was also an all-state volleyball athlete.    In 2003, she was enrolled in the University of Texas at El Paso. She competed in the entire four years of her college and was able to win four tournaments her senior year. She was named the 2007 Conference USA Individual Champion and Player of the year.
